I saw I Shot Andy Warhol back when it was freshly minted to VHS, so my recollections are fuzzy at best. I remember liking it, mainly because I've long had a crush on Lili Taylor, and because I've never been the biggest Warhol fan. The fact that Solanas shot the pop art icon appeals to me on a visceral level, which is a fairly ugly thing to say, but there you have it. I seem to recall that the film was fairly bleak, if because Solanas' life itself was pretty bleak. I also seem to recall that stylistically it captured the era fairly well, and I'm always a fan of a well-done period-piece.

But we got rid of our cowboy president! I'm currently watching I shot Andy Warhol. Any opinions?
Hi Ben!
Happy New Year!
